Specific PlugIns Needed

  Just looking for some help with a few specific plugins, transferring from a wordpress.com to wordpress.org site.

  1 — I would like a stats counter similar to the one ran on a free wordpress.com site for my new wordpress.org site. Is there a plug-in that is for the exact same one or one that is similar?

  2 — I would like to be able to include related articles in my posts. wordpress.com used to offer this option, but no longer does. I was trying to see if there was a plug in for this, for related articles from other blogs or site, not my own.

  3 — Plug in for both facebook & twitter, just to have a button for my site, to show up on each page, preferrably at the top, button with the facebook and twitter logos, linked to my pages.

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features and run different versions of some themes with the same names http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
  For plugins see here http://wordpress.org/plugins/ and note the JetPack is the plugin http://jetpack.me/ that provides what you had here at WordPress.com.

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

  Thanks for your help, again! I did post a thread over at wordpress.org, but unfortunately, no help as of yet :(!

  I also figured since 2 of my ?s, about related posts & the stats counter, were involving wordpress.com, that the wordpress.com might could help. But hopefully someone from wordpress.org will jump in as well, but I will check thru the plugins page again!

  1) Use the Jetpack plugin, meant to replicate the WP.com experience.

  2) There are many. Outbrain, for instance, can get you on the biggest sites on the internet, but it costs a fortune.

  3) Jetpack.

  I’m only answering these becuase they are “how do I replicate WP.com” questions. And I havent finished my coffee.

  I’ve installed “Jetpack”, huge help! just now trying to figure out about these twitter & facebook buttons.
