Split: Spam invitations to blogs

    I have received almost a hundred emails in the last hour from someone using my email address via WordPress to sign me up for subscriptions. How can you make this stop?

    Hi, I split your comment into its own thread since it seems to be a separate issue.

    You can head to https://wordpress.com/me/notifications and check the option to block emails coming from our servers.

    Unfortunately if they’re doing this on self-hosted installations outside our servers, we can’t control that setting here.

    But you might check to see if your mail program will let you filter those out automatically. I’d recommend leaving those filters in place until the person doing it gets bored and stops.
