Spliting domain between two servers

  Can I have my primary URL “example.com” go to a non-WP server, but all other content ex:”example.com/FAQ, example.com/Blog, and example.com/About come from WP servers?
  I did read a bit about domain mapping on your website and am confused. I want to split the domain so that the primary domain maps to a non-WP server and all other domains map to WP. Is that possible? I am a very new user. Is this supported at all? A premium service?

  No, that specifically can’t be done, but you can map a subdomain instead, like blog.example.com: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/
