srcset doesn’t seem to be working

    Hi,

I’ve got 4 columns on my home page with an image in each column, I uploaded the images at 1024×683 as the same images are used elsewhere at larger sizes, my understanding is that the srcset system would show smaller images when in this 4 column layout on a PC and then bigger versions when in the responsive single column layout.

I’ve checked in the console of chrome and can see that srcset is offering up different image sizes but when I run a gtmetrix it says I need to server scaled images and it seems to be downloading the full size image based on my testing with a clean virtual PC that’s never visited the site before.

My website is http://www.whichgreekisland.co.uk and it’s on the home page, there’s a couple of sections that have the 4 column layout.

    Any ideas what’s wrong here?

    Thanks, Alan.
