  So I have to buy a domain name for WordPress to be secure? (SSL) I was using comunionet1.wordpress.com. . . an it gives out the ‘this site is not secure’. Sigh

  Hi profesorascatgm I just went to that site and it is a secure site from what I can see.

  All the sites on WordPress.com (even the ones with a free .wordpress.com address) have an SSL certificate installaled. You don’t need to register a domain for that. You can read more here:

  https://wordpress.com/support/https-ssl/

  it gives out the ‘this site is not secure’.
