SSL Certificate

  Hello,

  I would like to add a SSL certificate to my domain.

  In the support article, it is said that it should be automatically added and that we should be able to check the status in the “domain security” section.

  However, this section does not appear in my dashboard and my site does not have the certificate installed. IT is still “not secure”.

  Can you help ??

  Hi there!

  We include a free SSL certificate for all domains hosted on WordPress.com. The domain you mentioned is registered on WordPress.com, but you’re pointing it to an externally hosted site (also known as a self-hosted WordPress.org site). Our SSL certificate will not work with an external site. You’ll want to contact the hosting company (where the domain is hosted) for help with SSL certificates on their servers.
