SSL certificate issue

    Hello, my site does not have an SSL encryption. Why not and how can this be rectified without flogging $109.00 to GoDaddy…

    Hi there, if you are hosted at Godaddy, you will have to discuss that with them. You can buy SSL certificates through other sources and apply them to your site, but in my experience they are typically more expensive than going through the web host.

    The thing to get clear with Godaddy in your discussions is if you are wanting to do ecommerce and need that security or if you are just wanting to make the search engines happy by having an https:// instead of http:// for your site.
