SSL Certificates

    I have maybe 5 or 6 Facebook landing pages I created a few years ago. These are all sub-directories of a domain I have hosted on Hostgator. I did this because of Facebook’s requirements that any such pages have SSL certification. A free SSL certificate came with the hosting package.
    i would like to transfer these self-same pages to WordPress.com, with them still viewable in Facebook. Is this possible. What is the situation with SSL’s. Are these available for all websites/pages placed here? Is there any cost for these?

    We automatically provide SSL for free for any site/domain hosted on our servers.

    To use your own domain on a WordPress.com site will require the site to be on one of our paid plans. If you have multiple sites, each with their own domain, each site will have to be upgraded.

    With a paid plan you can either transfer your domain registration to us, or you can just connect the domain here while leaving it registered at the current provider:
