SSL for WordPress.com domain mapped to Squarespace website

  I have redirected a WordPress.com domain to a Squarespace website. If I type the WordPress.com domain name into a browser it says insecure. The redirection only works with http:// but not with https://
  Is there a way to resolve this without transferring the domain name to Squarespace?

  We have absolutely no history of domains, sites, purchases, transactions, or billing activity of any kind under the account you’re currently logged into.

  What is the domain name you’re referring to?

  Thank you for replying. I am currently logged in as myself rather than the client. The domain is tombyrne.org

  Hi there,

  I just tested both the http and the https version and the domain redirects without issues to tombyrne.co.uk.

  Are you still having issues with it?

  Thank you for checking. The http and https are both working now. I have just noticed that the www version is not redirecting. Do I need to add another CNAME record?

  You’ll need to check with Squarespace for specifics on that, they should have the right answer.
