Stackideas and wordpress compatibility/ linking wordpress to existing blog

    Hi,
We have a joomla based website and are using stack ideas for our blog platform. I want to also have a wordpress that links to our blog. I don’t know the first thing about php or any coding. Is there a way I can link a wordpress.com account to our blog, or import content from our blog into the wordpress blog. If I have to go the way of installing wordpress and plugins etc can you give me instructions on what to do to pass to our website guy please? Are there any plans to make wordpress compatible with stack ideas in the future? Thanks, Caroline

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • I’m not sure that I understand exactly what it is that you are trying to do. Do you have an example site that you can point me to so I can get a better idea?

Generally, I suspect that a self-hosted WordPress.org website will be a batter bet for your needs. While similar, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are different entities and offer different functionality.

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org
