Staff assistance requested – domain is mapped to an existing site.

I accidentally deleted my domain
digitalaccessengineering.cominstead of renewing it. I’d like to re-register it, but I’m currently getting an error that says:“This domain is already mapped to a WordPress.com site.”The domain doesn’t appear in my account anymore, and I believe it’s stuck in the redemption period or still mapped to the old (now deleted) site.
Please help me either recover the domain or unmap it so I can re-register and manage it again.
