Staging Site

    A client of mine wants to redesign her wordpress.com site which is using the Premium plan. I don’t want her to experience any downtime for her site. Is there any kind of staging functionality I can use so her current site can continue to be live until the redesign is complete?

    I will be changing many things – content, colours, fonts, menus and the theme – so it’s not a simple redesign.

    Hi @vonovo, no problem. You’re welcome to stage the new site with us before pointing the domain here. You’ll just avoid pointing the domain here until it’s ready.

    Noting you may need a domain to add plugins and themes to our Business plan, but if you need help with that, you can get in touch via chat support and our team will help you through when you’re ready to change the primary domain.
