  I want to make a word press site for blogging for free with an exhisting go daddy domain. After I try for some months will upgrade to other paid plans. How to do it?

  In order to connect the domain from GoDaddy a plan upgrade is required. Those details are at https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  There’s 2 ways to connect the domain.
  1. Mapping: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
  2. Transfer: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/

  If you need to get started for free, then you can do that, on one of our free sites, but you can’t connect the domain until the plan is added.
