Hi –
Short answers, yes and yes!
if I buy any plan can I make an upgrade later?
These can be upgraded or downgraded at any time. Just let us know if/when you need assistance with that. You’ll also only pay the difference when upgrading between 2 plans.
I already have a domain with GoDaddy that works on WordPress or not?
There are 2 options for this. Take a look and write back if you have any questions about the information.
1. mapping: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
2. transfer: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/ -
Hi there,
1- if I buy any plan can I make an upgrade later?
Definitely – if you decide to upgrade plans while in the middle of having another plan, you’ll see an upgrade discount while checking out if you’re eligible:
Everything will be prorated base on the price difference between plans and the remaining months you have in your monthly subscription.
2- I already have a domain with GoDaddy that works on WordPress or not?
It does – if you have domain you want to use at WordPress.com that you have hosted elsewhere, you have the option to map or transfer that domain.
Whether you map or transfer your existing domain, you will need to purchase a WordPress.com plan. The difference is who you want to host your domain. If you transfer the domain to WordPress.com, we’ll manage the domain. You’ll pay for the mapping and the plan here (domain is included within the plan price for the first year).

But, if you keep the domain at your current host and map the domain to WordPress.com, you current host will continue to manage the domain and you’ll need to pay them for hosting your domain.
