  I am trying to create an ecommerce website but it will not let me add a custom plugin. Do I need to download WordPress to my Mac or can I do it straight from the website?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey there,

  You won’t find a plugin tab in the dashboard because plugins are installed and utilized solely for those with self-hosted WordPress.ORG installs:
  http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  WordPress.com does not provide an e-commerce option at this time, so if you want to add e-commerce to your site, the self-hosted option is the way to go.
