  Only the site owner can delete a site, I’m afraid. However, even if you could do that, you wouldn’t want to because the URL would become unavailable for suture use.

  If you cannot contact the former employee and get them to transfer ownership to a permanent “general” user account (so that you do not run into this issue the next time someone leaves), you will need to delete stuff manually:
