started new free domain. want to change/delete domain name

  i wanted to use get a domain using wordpress. i did the free year. but i want to change/delete the domain.

  anyone know how i can do this?

  Thanks for reaching out! While it’s not possible to swap your current domain for a different one, you can definitely purchase a new domain and connect both to the same site. Once you’re ready, you can set the new one as your primary domain.

  If you’re sure you no longer want the original domain, you can follow the steps in this guide to cancel it:

  Just keep in mind — once canceled, the domain is removed from your account and might not be available again.
