Starting a website

    Good day. I would like to set up a basic website with 5 fitness related ebooks available for purchase and download. I have registered an email domain with Afrihost >(email visible only to moderators and staff)
    How do I go about starting my site and setting up seeing as though I already have an email address etc

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    We do not offer ecommerce functionality on free sites on WordPress.com so as a first step you will need to upgrade to our WordPress.com Business Plan, which will move your site to our business hosting and enable the ability to upload any plugin or theme to your WordPress.com site.

    Once you have upgraded you can install the WooCommerce plugin to add ecommerce functionality, then follow the steps here to set up your ebooks as “downloadable products” as directed here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/digital-downloadable-product-handling/
