  Which is the best theme with a static home page? I have yet to find one…

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi gtjackman,

  Most themes support the option to use a static homepage, although the exact layout can vary depending on which theme you are using — some support additional content options.

  If you tell me what sort of content you would like to display on the homepage, I can suggests a few themes which may be suitable. You also have the option to start a chat here if you prefer:

  Hi,

  I managed to create a home page, but the website title on the header links to the article page.

  If you know a theme that can change that, it would be greatly appreciated.

  All your pages on your site is set to private. This prevents a static front page from being set correctly, as only a publicly visible page can be set as the front page.

  If you don’t want your site to be accessible while you work on it, go to My Site ->Settings and set the entire site to private. Then edit the pages and change them all to public. That way no one except you will be able to access your site, but from your point of view all the pages will be visible and you’ll be able to set one as front page and add the pages to the menu normally.
