Static page

  I am attempting to set up a static page … under tools, reading, I select the page I want to serve as my homepage from the drop down menu and make it static. However, in the second menu, there isn’t a POST page to select. The only options are all the other pages I’ve created…but nothing for my blog posts. How can I fix this?? http://www.mldoyleauthor.com

  Hi there, you’re nearly there! You just need to create a placeholder page for your posts. For example, create a page and give it the title Blog. Leave the content area blank. It’ll now be available for you to assign as your Posts page under Settings > Reading.

  OMG! So easy! I searched and searched for the answer to this. Not sure why it was so hard for me to find. Thanks so much for your help!! I now have a home page. Fantastic.
