Statistics for my Website

I see a discrepancy in the user statistics for my website. It is not showing the accurate user count (i.e views). I used to average 200 views a day on my blog and suddenly it has dropped down to 0. How is that possible ? Can you let me know. Lot of people still tell me that they visit my blog often but i dont see that in the statistics. I ll be grateful if someone could help me regarding this.

A few weeks ago you had a spike in views, most of them coming from a small number of people who viewed on average more than 6 different pages on your site per visit, on 11 and 12 July. Most likely one of your posts got shared somewhere that caused a lot of people to visit your site and many of them spent some time looking around, viewing more than just the shared post that brought them to your site.
But then those visitors left without following your site, and they haven’t come back. That is why your views have decreased again.
Your site only has five followers at the moment, and it’s very new so won’t be getting a lot of traffic from search engines yet. With that in mind the stats you’re currently seeing is normal, and everything is working as it should.
The reality is stats fluctuate. On one day a post might do very well and get a thousand views, and on the next day no one visits your site because they’re all looking at another site that published something new. That’s just how the web works.
