Stats count my own hits, can it be turned off?

  How can i get the stats counter and widget to forget my own hits?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  They don’t count you unless you have your site private.

  Visits to your public blog are not recorded when you are logged in. Stats do not record your own visits unless you are logged in and are visiting your private blog. There is no option to change this. http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/
