Stats count my own views even if I am logged in

  • Unknown's avatar

I have two blogs connected to the same account, the first one is public and stats accounting is ok. The second one is private, and noone has access except myself, but I see in that stats that my own views are showed even if I am logged in. Shouldn’t my views be excluded from stats?
    Thank you

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

We actually count all logged in views of private sites, so this is normal. Let me know if you have any more questions!

    Hi,
    thank you for your answer.
In all the support pages I red that logged in views are not counted, and it is not specified that the behaviour is different for private blogs.
I think this could be classified as a bug.

We actually clarify this in the Additional Info section of our document on Stats:

Do Site Stats include my own visits to my blog?

Only for private blogs. For users with private blogs, your Site Stats page will show any visits that you have made to your own blog, as well the visits of other users who have access to your blog.

    Jetpack Stats

We don’t see this as a bug, but let me know if you have any other questions.
