Stats Mystery Solved?

  I have been blogging for close to 4 years and admittedly am interested in my stats. The one thing I haven’t figured out is why some loyal friends who I know are reading my posts don’t seem to show up in the stats. Then I realized recently that the email followers may not show up in the stats as the 3 email followers have seen my 270 posts but those don’t show up in the views. Is that the case? I also realize that might happen with the social media ones, too, at least for FaceBook.

  Hi @brka1990, since we don’t really know whether someone read an email or viewed a Facebook post, those will not count among the views. We do count reader views though. I hope that helps!
