Stats not working

I’ve been getting this message when trying to access stats for the past several days: “We were unable to get your stats just now. Please try again.”

Can you please try deactivating and deleting the Jetpack plugin, then completely reinstall it?

Hi! I’ve done that twice so far today (deactivated, deleted, re-installed, re-connected)…should I do it again?

Well, it wouldn’t hurt to try it again. Just to be sure, you aren’t running WordPress.com Stats at the same time, right?

Hmmm…I used to, but that plug-in is deactivated. I’m going to delete that, then try again.

OK. Deleted the WordPress.com Stats plug-in, deactivated, deleted, re-installed and re-connected Jetpack, and still getting the same message…could the WP-Stats Dashboard plugin be causing it?

Can you please try deactivating all other plugins to rule-out a plugin-specific conflict?
Theme function can also interfere like plugins, so would you please also temporarily switch to the Twenty Eleven theme?

Changed theme to Twenty Eleven, deactivated all plugins, reactivated and re-connected Jetpack, logged out, logged back in…nada. Same message: We were unable to get your stats just now. Please try again.
I’m fairly certain it’s not a WordPress.com issue as it seems to be working on other sites. Ready to toss my computer down a flight of stairs, but I’m guessing that won’t help, either.
Have we exhausted our options?

Are you running Jetpack on any other blogs? If so, do you have problems with those?
If not, do other Jetpack features, like the Sharing buttons, work?

Jetpack seems to be working on all of the sites I have running on a different hosting account with GoDaddy (on a 4GH account); the two sites running on this particular account (their shared hosting), it’s not working. I’m not using any other Jetpack features. Could it be an issue with the host server?

I’m definitely out of ideas now.
I have asked those in charge of the stats system on our end to take a look.
