Stats not working properly

  My stats are no longer working properly. The weekly stat shows a lower number of visitors than what stated by the daily one (If I manually add visitors from monday to sunday I get a higher number than what shown by weekly stats). This affects my monthly stat as well. Please help. Thanks

  Hi there,

  I currently checked the last week and found that the numbers were adding up.

  For the week of May 5th, 2014, you have 434 views. If you go to the daily stats, you will see the following:

  May 5th: 154
  May 6th: 106
  May 7th: 165
  May 8th: 9

  This equals to 434 views. As for manually adding visitors – I’m not sure what you mean. Please note that visits you make to your own publicly available blog (when logged in to your account) do not count towards your stats.

  Hello Grace,
  thanks for your reply.

  I am not talking about views though, I am talking about unique visitors.
  If you check stats from the past week (28 April, Sunday 4 May) I had:

  Monday 28 April: 65 visitors
  Tuesday 29 April: 58 visitors
  Wednesday 30 April: 60 visitors
  Thursday 1 May: 77 visitors
  Friday 2 May: 66 visitors
  Saturday 3 May: 67 visitors
  Sunday 4 May:61 visitors

  Tot for the week if I count them: 454
  The stats say I had 270!

  Same for the former 2 weeks. Why is that? I believe it is a technical
  issue.
  Please let me know!

  Hi there,

  I see! No worries this is the nature of visitor stats. As seen in the support guide I provided you:

  You may notice that weekly unique visitors is less than the sum of daily visitors for the same week. This occurs when the same visitor appears multiple times during the week.
