stats page graphics
-
What is going on with WordPress? My stats page is not displaying some of the graphics. A moment ago the hits by country graphic was not displaying, and now it is showing but the monthly stats window is not showing the graph.
Also my friend in India has been unable to access any WordPress blogs – this might be a specific server problem, but how can I be sure?
Please let me know what is going on.
Thanks, theinkbrain.

No – I’m in the U.S – but there is definitely a glitch with the stats graphics. Its either/or for the hits by country and the monthly bar graph….
-
Do you see any improvement with a different browser, like Chrome or Safari?
-
No I haven’t, but thanks for suggestion. Will try that now.
My friend in India tried other browsers to reach my blog and it didn’t work. Nor could she reach any other WP logs. It might be a problem specific to India or to her computer, but who knows.
Off to check my stats on Chrome…. -
Brilliant of you figure this out. Chrome displayed just fine, so I quit Firefox and logged back in and the dashboard and stats look normal.
However my friend in India tried another computer, and found the same problem of not being able to access any WP blogs. Hope this gets fixed soon. I suspect either the browser or something specific to Indian internet.
Thanks for all your help, and Best Wishes,

You’re welcome!
For your friend in India, is it just the Dashboard that he can’t access, or is he having trouble accessing the front of all WordPress.com blogs?
-
She cannot get in to any WP blogs period, and definitely can’t get into any posts. She has tried different computers and different browsers, but the problem persists.
India being India things can be expected to get screwy on a regular basis, but this is the first time she has had this particular problem.
Funny coincidence though, the two of us having problems at the same time. I am pretty sure Firefox is acting weird, because my stats come and go and sometimes only show partially. Guess I should switch to Chrome as my default!
You have been so nice. Tell your boss to give you a brownie point, a gold star, and extra hour off for lunch and a raise! -
Thanks!
As for your friend, I recommend waiting out the day. There have been some rather odd things in that end of ‘net these days, and it may just clear up overnight.
-
This is the second day she has been having problems, but I’ll pass your words on to her.
Maybe you can pass on the suggestion to WordPress that it will be nice to have all the countries showing that hit the blog on any given day and not just the top 13. It used to be that only 11 countries showed, then briefly it showed them all, and now its just 13.
Thanks again! -
On the Views by Country stats module, click the Summaries link in the top-right to see the full list.

We are working on this, but for now, head to the summary view.
As you know, t gives you a view of a 7-day spread, but in the URL, you’ll notice &numdays=7 which you can adjust to &numdays=1 to show a single day.
-
This is a wonderful compromise – Thank you for showing it to me, and If needed, I think I could figure out the previous (and other) days hits by taking a screen shot of 2 (or more) days stats and subtracting them from those of the current day.
A bit troublesome to work backwards in this way, but at least it is a way to get accurate information.
My Indian friend is having her modem checked in case that is the problem. I hope it is, and that it can be fixed.
Thank you again.
