Stats showing zero views/visitors etc., all of a sudden

    Hello!
    My stats page has stopped showing stats for my blog traffic. I don’t have any plug-ins, haven’t made any changes and it was working normal until the last 4 days. My site has showed zero activity despite knowing that people have visited this site….Any suggestions?

    Hi there,

    Your site is recording stats normally, and I can see views recorded for yesterday, so nothing is broken here.

    Your site only has six followers, and it looks like you only just started posting again after more than a year with no posts, so any search engine ranking you built up before will be lost by now. Given that, it is normal to see zero-visit days at this point.

    Over time, as your site becomes indexed by search engines again and your following grows, this will happen less often, but there will always be fluctuations in your stats. You can see some tips on how to grow your site traffic here:

    How do you know people visited your site? Unless you stood next to them as they opened your site in their browser there’s no way for you to know that for sure. Also keep in mind that if someone subscribes to your site via email and reads your posts in their email, that doesn’t count as a visit to your site.

    And if someone uses tracking blockers in their browser (which many browsers now have built in and on by default), we won’t be able to record their visits even if they do open your site. That’s not something we can control.
