    I signed up for web design through HostGator on 6/20/2022. I paid $2,250 and haven’t heard anything back as yet from the project director. I keep calling and leaving messages but do not hear anything back from her. HostGator told me today, 7/15, that it is a wordpress.com issue so I am contacting you. Please respond.     Hi there,

    I’m sorry but we are not able to help with sites that are hosted with other providers. To clarify, Hostgator is a peer (we both offer WordPress sites to the public) but we are separate companies and not connected to one another.

    We do offer a service to build sites for folks that host with us, but it’s at a much lower rate than the one you have quoted here: https://wordpress.com/do-it-for-me/?ref=forums_sidebar

    I’m sorry that you’ve had this trouble but I’m afraid you will need to continue to seek support from Hostgator directly or from the service that is creating your site for you. If you feel you are a victim of fraud then I would recommend starting a fraud investigation with your bank to recover your funds.
