sticky post not sticking.

Gallery sticky post is not sticking in Twenty Ten theme. I tried clearing cookies and cache, and I tried using another browser and another PC. Nothing cured the problem. In fact, the problem is even worse because the blog page does not even act like the home page. When going to the site (malamahuleia.org), the first thing that comes up is the third item on the menu, which is a text page. How can I fix this?

The malamahuleia.org link was going to a page called “our huleia.” I copied that page to malamahuleia.org/our-huleia and deleted the one that had the permalink of malamahuleia.org. Now if someone tries to go there “page not found” is received, which makes sense. But I want the “malama huleia overview” post to have the malamahuleia.org permalink. How can I do that?

I see your ‘malama huleia overview’ post is set as sticky and the post appears on top of all other posts. Is this what you wanted?
Or do you want that post to be your static front page? if so, please follow the steps in this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/front-page

I managed to fix the main problems myself. The only thing that still bothers me is that the sticky post initially displays as a summary. Is there a way to make the whole article display from the start?
