Stop email when blog is updated

    I update my WordPress site using email that are sent to my personal WordPress email adress.
    Every time my WordPress site is updated I get a “New post” email from WordPress.
    My WordPress site is updated several times a day so I get lots of “New post” email.
    How do I unsubscibe the “New post” email?

    Hi there,

    I see you’ve blocked new post email notifications, but that only applies to email notifications for blogs you are following.

    The emails you are receiving are the Post by email confirmation emails. There is no setting to block or switch those off – whenever you send a post by email, you will receive an email in return to confirm that it has been published. The feature was not really designed for the type of automated posting that you are doing.

    In your case, I’d recommend you set up a filter in your email account to automatically archive or delete emails containing the words, “Alert-Motion”, in the subject line. That way you won’t receive these emails in your inbox, but you’ll still be able to receive other emails from us, like comment notifications.
