Stop Notifying Subscribers About New Post

    Hi! I have a free site hosted on WordPress and I’m looking for the option to turn off notifying subscribers every time I publish a post. I’ve seen recommendations such as disconnect Jetpack or install an additional plugin, but I don’t think I can with a free site? Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi there,

    In general, the subscriber has control over whether or not to receive new post notifications from posts you publish.

    For a potential workaround, you may be able to set your site to private, make the posts you want to make without users getting notified, and then make the site public again.
