Struggling with learning how to use

    I’m trying to get started but wordpress is a bit complicated and I’m not sure I fully understand it. I just want to start a free blog that can still be posted online even with wordpress.com for 6 months and turn it later to an original with bluehost. But when I try to launch the website with the wordpress.com, it’s not working.

    I’m happy to try and provide some more clarity.

    Looking at the account that you’ve used to contact us (on WordPress.com) I can see that there aren’t any sites registered to it. Which site are you currently working on?

    We are a hosting provider. If your site is set up here, there’s no need to pay for hosting through another provider.

    When folks run their own WordPress installation, called WordPress.org, then you do need a separate hosting provider. But, that’s completely different from the managed hosting environment that we provide here.
