Stuck trying to change admin email address

For http://www.uptick.com I’m attempting to update the admin’s email address to myself. It displays this message “There is a pending change of your email to (email visible only to moderators and staff)”, but neither myself nor the previous admin receive a confirmation email. It is not going to my junk folder.
Seems like many other people have experienced this problem too, but I’ve been unable to find a resolution. Would appreciate any assistance with this.
