  hello
  I have a website with my own domain (not WordPress , open source )
  I want to link my WordPress blog to my website as a subdomain that i would link in the footer of my main website . (‘blog’ ) when my customers click on the link it would open a page in a new tabs with the WordPress blog
  Can i add the blog as a subdomain to my website ?

  Yes this is possible. To “map” a subdomain address to your WordPress.com site you can follow the steps here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/
