Subdomain mapping failed
-
Can’t map my subdomain, keep getting error ‘DNS CNAME for blog.crowddefend.com needs to point to crowddefend.wordpress.com.’ even though I already added the CNAME record and its been over 12 hours so DNS should have propagated.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m not seeing a record of a domain mapping purchase under the account your are posting from. So that could be the issue unless you have second WordPress.com user account.

Thanks for reaching out! I think my description was a little incomplete. I’ve been trying to purchase a subdomain mapping. I’d like to map my subdomain of blog.crowddefend.com to my blog at crowddefend.wordpress.com. But when I try to complete the purchase is when I get the error saying ‘DNS CNAME for blog.crowddefend.com needs to point to crowddefend.wordpress.com.’ I’ve created the CNAME record though my domain registrar and everything in DNS looks fine so I don’t understand why my purchase keeps failing.

I wonder if the CNAME just hadn’t properly propagated through the internet yet. Can you give it another try? If it fails again, I will see if I can push it through on my end.

I just tried again and the purchase is still failing. Would really appreciate anything you can do on your end.
