Subscribe button does not work in Apple Safari OS10.12 but does work in Chrome

    Subscribe button does not work in Apple OS10.12 Safari but does work in Chrome.

    When I click on the SUBSCIBE button a white dialogue box comes up for a fraction of a second and then disappears without setting up the subscription. Using Chrome on the same computer the SUBSCRIBE button works normally. Using MacBook Pro 15 (mid 2015).

    What version of Safari are you using? And on what site are you trying to subscribe? Specifically, a site on a free *.wordpress.com address, or on a custom domain/free .blog address?

    Safari has some of the best privacy protection features out there, but among those is a feature that blocks us from detecting that you’re logged into your account, which can cause features like subscibing, liking and commenting to break.

    Open your Safari settings and check if “Prevent cross-site tracking” is enabled. Disable that, log out, and log back in, and see if that helps.

    Also make sure that Safari allows JavaScript. That should also be in Safari settings.
