subscribe to post comments

  Hi all, I’m new to blogging and am wondering if/where there is an option to have members subscribe to my blog in order for them to post comments. I’m glad people are posting, but I would also like them to subscribe vs. writing a one time comment. Is there an option for this? I’ve been looking and can’t seem to find

  Depends what you mean by “Subscribe.” Technically no, there is no way to automatically limit your commenters to those who take your RSS feed or subscribe to your blog by email.

  You can go to Dashboard->Settings->DIscussion and set it so that people have to have a comment approved by you before they can automatically post comments. All other comments will be held for moderation.

  Thank you raincoaster for your reply. This is what I was asking about; now that I know that this is not possible I’ll stop looking. Re: dashboard/settings/discussion I have also now set it to approve comment so this will also be helpful.
