Subscribe widget
-
I’ve added the ‘Subscribe’ widget to my sidebar, but, compared to my other blog (Flagstones & Fog) and any other blog I look at, the text displayed for this widget seems incomplete. For example, on Flagstones & Fog, the Subscribe widget’s heading says ‘Subscribe to Blog via Email’, and below it ‘Enter your email address to subscribe to this blog and receive notifications of new posts by email’. This doesn’t show up at all on my Tarot, Tea & Thyme widget. I went into that widget’s options but there doesn’t seem to be a way of customizing any further than I already have. Am I missing something obvious? I don’t know any coding! I’d appreciate any help on this – thank you.

Hi @gillygoodmoon, this is another difference with legacy vs block widgets.
Basically, with block widgets, you’re building your widgets from smaller components (headings, paragraphs, images, buttons, etc). So you’d customize each component as you’d like rather than being confined to a widget’s settings.
To add a paragraph to the new subscription widget, add a pargraph block and the text as you like it. You can add a heading if you’d like, too.
Hoping this helps!
