  Hi support team. I tried to import a small 4-email CSV to my new blog, and my subscriber importer state is now completely stuck. It gives me the error ‘The site does not accept subscriptions’ even when I try to type emails manually. Please reset the subscriber importer lock/state for my site URL https://canes90.wordpress.com/

  When the CSV importer triggers the error ‘The site does not accept subscriptions’—even for manual entries—it usually means an automated security flag or process lock got stuck on your subscriber table during the initial file upload. Because clearing this lock requires database-level intervention, I have flagged this thread for Staff / Happiness Engineers. A team member will inspect your site’s subscriber importer state for your site, clear the lock, and reset your subscription intake so you can add your emails successfully!
