Subscriber number

    For my blog https://cmsjnc.wordpress.com, in Insights > Follower Totals, I can see there are 172 in social, and 34 in WordPress and it is 206 in total. So (a) what is the difference between these two and (b) how can I check who these generous people are? Also I can see the WordPress followers easily but not the Social.

    (a) what is the difference between these two

    Social followers are people that follow your blog via the social media platform you publish your posts to (Facebook, Twitter, etc.).

    WordPress.com followers are people with a WordPress.com account that have subscribed to your blog and are receiving your posts via email and the WordPress.com apps.

    (b) how can I check who these generous people are?

    You can only see some information about the WordPress.com users that follow you provided that they have a blog too.
