  I am trying to get people who follow my page to be subscribed to my mailchimp newsletters. How can I connect my page in a way that anyone that follows automatically becomes a subscriber?

  Hi there,

  In the case of email-only subscribers, you can export their email addresses from My Site ->Manage ->People ->Email subscribers, and then import those directly into Mailchimp, but you’ll need to do that manually each time you get new email subscribers.

  For subscribers who follow your site via their WordPress.com accounts, we do not reveal their email addresses to you, and there’s no way to export those subscribers to any other platform, as they did not consent to that when they used their WordPress.com accounts to follow your site.

  There doesn’t exist any intrinsic connection between WordPress.com subscriptions and Mailchimp, so adding new WordPress.com subscribers to your Mailchimp list automatically isn’t possible. Even forcing email subscriptions on WordPress.com itself is not possible – anyone following your site has a choice whether or not they wish to opt in to email notifications, or if they only want to see your posts in their Reader feed.
