Subscribers transfer to a self hosted WordPress site

  Hello,
  I have successfully transferred my wordpress.com site to my new self hosted site, however my subscribers haven’t moved. From what I have read in forums a helpful wordpress staff member can help me to move my subscribers to a self hosted site. Is that correct? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  my old site is
  http://www.2lovebirdsblog.com

  and my new site is
  http://www.2lovebirds.com.au
