  If I choose to pay $8 on a business site premium subscription, will I be able to blog and monetize ads there for a pereod of 12months?

  WordPress.com plans are billed yearly, with monthly pricing displayed for comparison purposes. So while the Premium plan works out to $8/month, the 12 month cost would be $96.
