Subscription Block

  I’m having trouble with the subscription block. People who have told me they are subscribed via email do not show up on the ‘followers’ list in my stats.

  The site I need help with is thecedarcreekchronicles.wordpress.com.

  Hi there,

  Please note that email followers are not added automatically as soon as they submit their email address. They also need to confirm the subscription as well. We send an email to their inbox asking to confirm they want to follow your site, and once they click the confirmation link in the email, they are added to your subscriber list.

  You are sure that your followers have acted on the confirmation email as well? Is there a specific email address you would like us to look into? You can add it in your reply here and our system will obscure it so only staff can see the address, but it is not visible to public.

  Thanks for the reply! Here is one email, (email visible only to moderators and staff) She has checked her inbox and spam, but received no email to confirm her subscription. She attempted to subscribe from subscription form on the post titled “Welcome to the Blog.”

  We have absolutely no subscription history, pending or otherwise, under that email address.

  Would you please ask them to try again?
