Hello, I am trying to add a subscription block to my blog but it is not showing up when I search for it.

Hm, it seems to be appearing for me when I try to add it to your front page.
Where exactly are you trying to add it?

Weird! The only think that works for me is adding in [blog_subscription_form] but I like the look of the subscription block more. I’m trying to add it right above my about me section.

Hm, it’s also working for me there too. You might have been within the paragraph block above.
Try creating a new block below the paragraph above: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/#add-a-block
Then, add the Subscription Form block: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/subscription-form-block/

I did start a new paragraph and then tried to add a block to that paragraph. It lets me add blocks but when I search for subscription, nothing shows up.
