Subscription Problem

  I’ve activated the email subscribe from JetPack but it doesn’t seem to be working. Any help would be appreciated.

  You’ll need to drag the new widget to your sidebar via Appearance -> Widgets in your blog’s Dashboard.

  I’ve done that and self subscribed. I’ve “hidden” it temporarily until I can get it to actually send an email. I want it to send an email when I update the SermonBrowser. Everything I’ve tried (plugins) doesn’t work even though the RSS feed is getting updated.

  Emails will only be sent when you publish a new post.

  Is there anything that will allow one to subscribe via email for what I’m wanting to do? I know FeedBurner would have probably worked but….

  Not really, because even feed items aren’t republished when a post or page is updated. They are flagged as updated in the feed, but very few feed readers recognize this.
