Support

Do any of your plans offer ongoing support?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thanks – is that just during set up?
What happens if I break something or otherwise need help once the site is set up?

Support is always available.
All support docs are at https://en.support.wordpress.com/
See: Getting WordPress.com Support https://en.support.wordpress.com/help-support-options/
There is no phone support. Those who have a paid upgrade for a wordpress.COM site can use the “Contact Support” form, http://support.wordpress.com/contact/
The best WordPress.COM contact form to use now for Staff assistance is:
http://wordpress.com/help/contactLive chat will be available there only if we have Happiness Engineers available to chat. When they are not available using that link results in posting to this peer support forum. https://en.support.wordpress.com/live-chat/
re: direct email support
Also note, that you can email WordPress.COM Staff at:You can also start a thread https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1 like you did to post here. When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads. I did that for you. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Then we subscribe to this thread so we are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
https://trishwish.com/ is not hosted by wordpress.COM and we do NOT provide support for it.trishwish.com is hosted by DigitalOcean
IP Address: 188.166.150.225
Name Servers:
ns0.unlimited.uk.net
ns1.unlimited.uk.netThat site is not on our WordPress.COM servers and you are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, support docs and support forums, and many people get confused about the two.
The wordpress.ORG login link is here https://login.wordpress.org/ If you do not have an account yet then click Create an account https://login.wordpress.org/register/ and if you have lost an account password click Lost password? https://login.wordpress.org/lostpassword/
This is wordpress.COM support. We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
(1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
(2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.com/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.
Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.com/support/
Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackHowever, if help cannot be found at either one then they can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page
See also https://apps.wordpress.org/support/ for app support. -
I'm aware that TrishWish.com is not a wordpress site.
The question wasn't related to a specific site rather I wanted an overview of WordPress support features to compare the level of support available with Weebly, Wix, Squarespace etc.

Patricia

Hi again Patricia,
Hopefully I provided what you needed to know. If not, don’t worry as rootjosh will follow up this thread when he logs in. -

Livechat and email support is available for as long as you have a WordPress.com plan. So, during setup or down the road should you wish to change something.
