Suspicious traffic

I have a blog that I haven’t used in over a year. I removed all followers and it’s been private for a few years. I’ve been getting traffic today, and I don’t understand how. I’ve changed the password to my WordPress account, but the stats are still increasing. The blog in question is:
Thank you.

Hi there,
According to our logs you set http://thevpub.wordpress.com/ a few years ago, and removed all followers. In the time since then you have been the only person with access to the site since you are the owner and sole admin. I can confirm that is the case today still, and you are the only person that has access to that site.
I also noticed that you have been very active on your site today deleting content, and have removed about 400 blog posts. Out of curiosity did you occasionally switch from working in your dasboard to visiting your site (the homepage) to see if that content has been removed?
The reason I ask is because when you set your site is set to “private” the stats you see are no longer tracking the public… since they don’t actually have access to your site.
Instead the stats page will switch to showing you your activity (as an admin) so the visits you see now are most likely related to the fact that you have been working on your site so much today. I do not see any evidence of hacking or account compromise, so I don’t believe there is any cause for concern. Just that stats are showing you that you have been active on your site today, which is definitely the case.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
