Switched Domain Names

    Created new blog/domain name. But want to get rid of former name without losing all my post and followers

    Hi there,

    If you want to keep the same content and followers but want to change the name of your blog, you can just change the blog URL address. You can change your blog address by going to My Blogs, and clicking the Change Blog Address link that appears when you hover over the address you want to change:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/

    Note that you have the option to choose your user name to match the new blog address. If you choose this option, you will not be able to revert back to the original username, and it can affect profile URLs for other services such as Gravatar or IntenseDebate.
